– Everyone is very tired. Such a swing. It was very important to win, so they left everything on the field.
— How did CSKA defeat a troublesome opponent?
— I can’t say it’s due to the defense, because we conceded and scored a lot. But we still did some sort of preparation for the game and were able to rebuild as the match progressed. When we lost our big players due to fouls, we rebuilt and played “small five”. We did all the installations we could do. We fought, we heard, and we supported each other. And the fans also supported us.
– Who would you like to meet in the final – Lokomotiv or UNICS?
– Let them decide who will reach the final. These are not our problems (smiles). Our task is to prepare well for the final,” Astapkovich told .
