Celtics open the scoring in the Eastern Conference Finals series
Boston beat Indiana in overtime of the first match of the Eastern Conference finals National Basketball Association (NBA) – 133:128.
The close confrontation continued throughout the match. Boston took a lead of 10 or more points several times, but Indiana quickly regained parity. Regular time ended in a draw – 117:117. The hosts won the extra five minutes.
The best player for the Celtics was Jayson Tatum, who scored 36 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Boston’s Ukrainian defender Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk did not take part in the match.
