Valery Plekhanov became the team’s new head coach yesterday
Budivelnik officially announced the signing of a new contract with the forward of the Ukrainian national team Bogdan Bliznyuk. The contract is for one year.
Bliznyuk also spent the previous season in Budivelnik. In 31 Super League games, he averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
In August and September, Bliznyuk will play for the Ukrainian national team in the qualifying matches of the 2023 World Cup and EuroBasket 2022.
Yesterday it became known that the assistant coach of the Ukrainian national team, as well as the head coach of the U-18 team Valery Plekhanov became the head coach of Budivelnyk.
On September 21, Budivelnik will play the first match of the Champions League qualification against the Swedish Norrköpping.
Earlier, FBU Secretary General Volodymyr Drabikovsky said that the new basketball season in Ukraine could start in October in an unusual format.
