The shipowner of Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburtonnever hid his great friendship with one of the players from Boston Celtics, Oshae Brissett. However, the Indianapolis star wants to secure a victory before leaving Massachusetts. The two players played together for the franchise for almost two seasons, but the winger is now on the rival side. Even though he no longer plays alongside his friend, shirt 0 will have to leave all of this behind for now.
“Obviously, people know that Oshae [Brissett] and I are best friends. Normally, we would go out to dinner or something before we play, but we can’t do that during the playoffs.”said Haliburton, in an interview with journalist Bobby Manning, from “CLNS”. After starting his career in Toronto Raptors, Brissett went to the Pacers. There, he spent three seasons, playing alongside Tyrese between 2021/22 and 2022/23. In the current season, however, the Canadian was left without a contract and signed with the Celtics for two years.
“There was a lot of teasing from us during the year, because I told him that we would meet in the East finals and he always laughed about it. So here we are. We didn’t talk much while facing each other. But I know we’ll have a lot to talk about later.”added the Pacers point guard.
