The Madrid club continues to defend its title

Blancos beat Olympiacos (87:76) in the semi-finals. The first quarter of the meeting was decisive, which Real won by 18 points.
Panathinaikos achieved a confident victory over Fenerbahce (73:57). The key was the fourth 10-minute period, which the Greek giants won with a score of 17:7.
It is interesting that the teams that took first (Real) and second (Panathinaikos) places in the regular season will play in the Euroleague finals.
Real Madrid is the current winner of the Euroleague. In the final of the 2022/23 season, the Spanish team defeated Olympiacos (79:78). Note that the Blancos have won the tournament a record 11 times.
Panathinaikos will play in the Euroleague final for the first time since 2011, when the Greens became champions of the tournament, beating Maccabi Tel Aviv (78:70). In total, the Greek giants won the main European trophy six times.
The final matches of the Euroleague will take place on Sunday, May 26. Fenerbahce will play Olympiacos in the match for third place, and then Real Madrid and Panathinaikos will meet in the fight for the trophy.
