With an injury to his left hamstring, Tyrese Haliburton became a doubt for the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Final dispute
Last Thursday, the 23rd, the Indiana Pacers left TD Garden with yet another defeat in the decisive series against Boston Celtics. With a negative score of 126 to 110, the team has a 2-0 disadvantage in the Eastern Conference final and, to make matters worse, they may be missing a Tyrese Haliburtonin game three.
Rick Carlisle, coach of the Indiana franchise, commented on Haliburton’s situation after the defeat in the second game of the series. Thus, the commander revealed that the player was already injured and ended up worsening the problem, even so he still hopes it is not something very serious. “We hope it’s not a serious injury,” he said.
Although the team is waiting for good news, the record is not the most positive considering Haliburton’s latest injuries. According to Carlisle, the injury was to his left hamstring, the same one that took him out of action for 10 games after a victory in the regular season, against the Celtics.
After feeling uncomfortable, Haliburton tried to stay on the court, but was unable to stand it for long and left permanently before the end of the third quarter. At the time, the Pacers had an 11-point deficit on the scoreboard and were looking for a comeback.
