Athletistic / Basketball. Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic last night surpassed legendary German Dirk Nowitzki’s record for most assists in an NBA playoffs. This happened in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves (100:105).
According to the NBA press service, Doncic now has 361 assists in the NBA playoffs. On the night of May 29, the Slovenian achieved a triple-double of 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.
Luka Doncic was selected 3rd overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2018 NBA Draft. The player’s rights were traded to Dallas for the 5th pick in the draft (Trae Young and a protected pick from the 2019 draft. Doncic made his debut in North America in the 2018/2019 season. Currently, he is one of the best basketball players on the planet.
Game 5 of the series between Dallas and Minnesota will take place on May 31. At the moment, the series score is 3-1 in favor of the Mavericks.
