Michael Jordan trading card sold for record $2.9 million

A collectible card depicting the six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan and his autograph was sold at auction for a record sum of $2.928 million, reports the press service of the collectibles exchange platform Goldin.

The Logoman card is part of the Upper Deck Ultimate 2003/04 collection. These cards are generally issued in a single copy and feature an NBA logo, usually cut from a game jersey.

$2.928 million is the highest price paid at auction for a Jordan card.

Jordan won six NBA championships with Chicago. He retired from acting in 2003.
