Legend t-shirt the Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant has found a new owner, Bleacher Report reports.
The game jersey the five-time NBA champion wore when he tore his Achilles tendon in 2013 sold at auction for $1.2 million.
Bryant’s autographed jersey features a patch with the initials “JB” in memory of longtime owner Jerry Buss, who died in February 2013.
Bryant’s jersey was previously sold for $5.8 million. He wore this uniform during the 2007-08 season, when he became NBA MVP.
Bryant died on January 26, 2020 at the age of 41 in a Sikorsky S-76 private helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. His daughter Gianna, 13, also died in the crash.
