Lakers and Dream Team star, LeBron James talks about the comeback and the good moment of his former teammate, NBA finalist with the Dallas Mavericks
In an interview with the basketball podcast Mind The Game, the winger of Los Angeles Lakers heaped praise on Kyrie Irvingwith whom he played on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I will always call Kyrie a “wizard.” There’s nothing on a basketball court he can’t do.
In preparation for the Paris Olympic Games in July, LeBron commented on Kyrie’s current situation. After winning the title together NBA in 2016 for Cleveland, the paths of the two friends took different directions. In 2018 LeBron left Ohio for sunny California. Kyrie tried his luck, unsuccessfully, with the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets, before signing with Dallas last season.
After a first year of ups and downs, the point guard finally found the basketball of the best years of his career in Texas, and is about to compete in the NBA finals, where he will face the Celtics again. LeBron will be cheering for his friend.
I’m so happy and proud to watch his growth. And at the same time I’m so mad that I’m not his teammate anymore. He is the most talented player the NBA has ever seen.
