American CSKA defender Melo Trimble recognized as the most valuable player in the VTB United League playoffs, the league’s press service reports.
Wednesday CSKA defeated Kazan UNICS in the fifth game of the final with a score of 66:55 and won the series – 4-1. The Moscow club won the tournament for the 11th time in its history.
In the final series, Trimble, 29, played in all five matches, including four in the starting five.
Trimble joined CSKA in July 2023. In the season that ended, he was also recognized as the best sixth player in the VTB United League and participated in the league’s All-Star Game.
