Ukrainian women’s 3×3 basketball team took second place at the Women’s League stage in Ulaanbaatar. In the final, the Ukrainians lost to the hosts of the national team competition Mongolia — 17:18.
The blue-and-yellows started the match more confidently, but then Mongolia took the initiative. The hosts achieved an advantage of +6 points and led with a score of 15:9 two minutes before the end of the match.
The Ukrainians managed to win back the gap and equalize the score – 17:17. Then Mongolia again took the lead. The blue-and-yellows had time to attack, but ultimately failed to score.
The Ukrainian team earned 80 points in the Women’s Series. After four stages, the blue-yellows are in fifth place.
Next, the Ukrainians will have to compete in the qualifications for the European Championship. The competition will take place on June 15-16.
