UNICS striker Andrei Vorontsevich told that he did not feel any embarrassment about not receiving the role of captain in the Kazan team.
In the last season of the VTB United League, Vorontsevich was loaned from PARIS NN to UNICS. Previously, the striker played for the Kazan club in 2021-2023 and was the team captain.

— Everything went very easily. Because I know Perasovic’s playing patterns and we have worked together a lot before. It seems to me that it was easier for me than for anyone else to join the team.
