Moscow Basketball Club “Rune “plans to re-enter the VTB United League in the future.
On Friday, a league council was held in Moscow, following which it was announced that Runa and Minsk would no longer be able to continue participating in the tournament.

Despite a number of successful marketing and media deals, spectator interest, outstanding players in the roster and decent sporting results, the club did not pass the probationary period. This does not allow him to participate in the new tournament draw. After working on the mistakes, Runa plans to return to the United League.
In the upcoming season, only women’s teams will remain in the club structure: the main and junior youth leagues, as well as the men’s 3×3 team. Runa 5×5 men’s teams will miss the 2024/25 season, the message states.
Runa entered the league before the start of the 2023/24 season, the club finished ninth in the regular season.
