President of the VTB United League Sergei Kushchenko re-elected to his post, reports the correspondent.
Additionally, Ilona Korstin was re-elected as the league’s general director. On Friday, the VTB United League council was held in Moscow, during which the composition of participants, format and regulations of the 2024/25 championship were approved.
Kushchenko said he was grateful to the clubs for their trust and noted that the league quickly adapts to any circumstances.

— Thanks to the clubs for their renewed confidence, as well as to Sergei Borisovich (Ivanov, honorary president of the VTB League — approx.). They didn’t scold us much, they trusted us for one more period in which we could improve. The mode in which the league operated last season is manual mode. We adapt quickly.
