Ja Morantstar of Memphis Grizzlies at NBA, broke the silence regarding the Draft, an event in which the league’s teams choose rookies to boost their squads. The Tennessee squad will be entitled to the ninth pick, but the 24-year-old athlete pointed out that he does not intend to influence the decision.
“I’m excited to see what happens.”said Ja Morant in relation to the Grizzlies’ future draft pick. “I know the internet is probably going to go crazy. So I’ll probably turn mine off.”. When asked if there was a favorite, the point guard preferred not to answer.
Furthermore, Morant highlighted that the executive’s preference Zach Kleiman that’s what it will be worth. “Aside from players I have a previous relationship with, I’m not evaluating anyone until they’re on our roster.”, he completed. The Draft will take place between June 26th and 27th (Wednesday and Thursday).
