Son of four-time NBA champion and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, Bronny James was not selected in the first round of the 2024 draft, according to the league’s website.
The first round of the draft took place on Wednesday in New York, Atlanta selected French forward Zaccary Risache with the first number.
In 2023, James Jr. suffered a cardiac arrest during training, after which he underwent treatment for a congenital heart defect. As a result, the basketball player missed five months.
In his first NCAA season with the University of Southern California, the 19-year-old basketball player averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
The second round of the 2024 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday.
