Blue-yellows will continue to fight for 9th-16th places
Men’s national team of Ukraine U-18 devastatingly lost to Iceland in the fourth match of the European Championship (division B).
The blue-yellows failed to take a single quarter from their opponents. The Ukrainians were also let down by the accuracy of long-range shots – four accurate attempts out of 22 shots.
The best player in Ukraine was Kulishenko, who scored a double-double (10 points and 11 rebounds).
Now the men’s team will participate in matches for 9-16 places at the European Championship. Valery Plekhanov’s team will face one of the teams that will take fourth place in Group B – Bulgaria, Norway or Kosovo.
