In the only National League match of the night, Fusion beat Boca at Bombonerita.
The semi-finals of the top category are still hot. The night of the National League saw the third match of the series between Quimsa and Boca in a fully packed Bombonerita. The Santiago team dominated the scoreboard for the better part of 40 minutes, and managed to win 78 to 73. With this result, they put the series 2 to 1 in their favor. Now, they can seal their ticket to next Saturday’s big game, at the same stage.
The best of Boca was seen in the first ten minutes of the match, where Xeneizes achieved their goal. Score, and avoid the appearance of Brandon Robinson who, although not at his best, has always been a reliable source of points for Ramella’s team. In that context, the locals won 20 to 17 at the start of the match; with a leading role for Langston in the painting. Robinson’s brief drought allowed the Santiago team to find different scoring hands throughout the first half. At the end of the first 20 minutes, the 25th appeared with 9 points to stretch the maximum in their favor 44 to 36.
