The National Basketball Association created a team where father and son would play together.
LeBron James has reached his goal. The legendary basketball player will be able to play in the NBA on the same team as his son. Found this out tonight.
The second part of the 2024 NBA Draft took place in Brooklyn, where teams selected rookies in the second round. That’s when it became known that the son of a famous basketball player will play in the Lakers with his father.
According to the NBA’s official website, the Los Angeles club selected University of Southern California guard Bronny James with the 55th pick.

So, LeBron and Bronny became the owners of some historic achievements. They became the first father and son to play together in the league, as well as the first father and son to be on the same team’s roster.
Let’s remember that the Lakers and LeBron did everything to make sure Bronny ended up on the “lake team”. Former Warriors general manager Bob Myers, now an ESPN analyst, said on air that LeBron James’ agent Rich Paul told other teams not to draft Bronny James.
“Rich Paul called teams and said, ‘Don’t draft Bronny James. Don’t take him. If you take him, he’s going to Australia to play,'” Myers said.
“Rich Paul is calling teams, don’t take Bronny James… if you take him, he’s going to Australia.” 😳
