Basketball player Andrei Zubkov left St. Petersburg “Zenith” upon expiration of the contract, reports the club’s press service.
The 32-year-old Russian player will continue his career at another club.
The forward joined the Blaugrana in the summer of 2019. With the team, he won the Kondrashin Cup and the Belov Cup three times, won the Super Cup twice and, for the first time in history, helped Zenit become the VTB United League champion and the Russian Cup winner.
Since the end of the 2021/22 season, Zubkov has been captain. As a member of Zenit, he has taken part in 247 official matches, which is the second most in the club’s history.
