Kazanski UNICS announced on its website the extension of the agreement with the head coach Velimir Perasovic .
The 59-year-old Croatian specialist’s new contract runs until the end of the 2024/25 season. Perasovich has been leading the Kazan team since the summer of 2021.
Last season, UNICS won silver in the VTB United League, losing to CSKA Moscow in the final with a score of 1–4. At the end of the season, Perasovic was recognized as the best coach in the league.
In the 2022/23 season, UNICS, under the leadership of Perasovich, became the champion of the VTB United League for the first time in history.
