Panathinaikos and Real Madrid are interested in the Ukrainian
Ukrainian defender Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk not included in the plans Boston for next season.
The Celtics do not plan to renew the contract with the Ukrainian. Svyatoslav will receive the status of a free agent.
Earlier it was reported that two Euroleague clubs, Panathinaikos and Real, are interested in the Ukrainian. Both teams are ready to start negotiations on a transfer if Svyatoslav decides to leave the NBA.
Mykhailiuk played 49 games for the Celtics this season. In the playoff series, the Ukrainian averaged 1.0 points and 0.6 rebounds per eight games. Over the course of the season, the Ukrainian averaged 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
Boston won its 18th title in franchise history. Mykhailiuk became the NBA champion for the first time in his career, and also the second Ukrainian after Slava Medvedenko to win the championship title.
