NBA great Klay Thompson leaves Warriors for Dallas Mavericks; San Francisco franchise to pay tribute to 34-year-old shooting guard
Klay Thompsonplayer of the NBAis leaving the Golden State Warriors after 13 seasons. Starting in the next cycle in the league, the shooting guard will defend the Dallas Mavericks in a contract worth R$280 million (or US$50 million). His number will be retired in the future by the San Francisco franchise out of respect for his trajectory with the team.

The amount of joy and happiness Klay brought to Warriors fans, Bay Area residents and Dub Nation fans around the world was immense and cannot be understated.”said the Californian team in an official statement.
