Universiade champion, former UNICS player Pavel Antipov announced his retirement, the press service of the Kazan club reports.
Antipov is 32 years old, he graduated from UNICS. The basketball player became a three-time silver medalist of the EuroCup (twice as part of the Kazan team), won silver and bronze medals in the VTB United League, and twice won the National Cup.
As a member of the Russian national team, Antipov won the Universiade in 2013.
In Russia he also played for Nizhny Novgorod, Zenit, Lokomotiv-Kuban and Parma.
