The United States began the road to the Olympic Games

Team USA began its training ahead of the event in Paris. The Americans are looking for a new gold medal with a team full of stars.

Saturday was experienced as the first day of school for members of the United States campus. With 12 NBA members they want to once again dominate the most important competition in international basketball. The fourth place in the last World Cup “forces” the Americans to return to the top of the podium at the Olympic Games.

The squad, made up of 12 of the biggest stars of the most important league in the world, started debates on social networks, comparing it to the famous Dream Team of 1992. LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Kawhi Leonard, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo and Tyrese Haliburton will represent the United States in Paris 2024. Some are already active in the jacket of multiple Olympic champions; and others who will take their first steps. Leonard and Joel Embiid will be the debutants for this event.

The United States, champions of the last four editions of the Olympic Games, will be included in Group C. There are also Serbia (world runner-up), South Sudan (Africa qualified from the world championship) and the winner of Puerto Rico Pre- Olympic Championship. Those led by Steve Kerr will be looking to repeat the gold won in Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
