Four-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Klay Thompson moved from Golden State toDallas “following a three-way trade,” reports the Mavericks press service.
The basketball player signed a three-year contract worth $50 million. As a result of this deal, Golden State received several second-round picks and sent guard Josh Green to Charlotte.
The Warriors selected Thompson with the 11th overall pick in the 2011 draft. With the club, he won the NBA championship four times.
As a member of Team USA, Thompson won the 2014 World Championships and the 2016 Olympics. The basketball player is 34 years old.
