Dnipro will nominally play its home matches in Latvia
Champion FAVBET Super Leagues season 2023/24 Dnieper will take part in FIBA Europe Cup season 2024/25.
29 clubs from 19 countries applied to participate in the tournament. 15 of these clubs received direct tickets to the main round, but the remaining 14 clubs, including Dnipro, will have to go through qualification.
According to the format, 14 clubs will be divided into 7 pairs, the matches will be played at home and away. The winners of the pairs will receive tickets to the main round. The qualifying games will be held on September 24 and 27. The Ukrainian club will play its nominally home matches (in the qualification, and in case of success – in the main round) in Latvia.
Let us recall that in the final of the FAVBET Super League of the 2023/24 season, Dnipro beat BC Rivne. For the Dnipro team, this championship title was the second – the club won gold medals for the first time in 2020.
