Brazilian basketball team called up for the Olympics; see names

The list has 14 athletes, two more than the allowed number, due to the uncertainty about the participation of Yago and Raulzinho

With the 94 to 69 victory over Latvia by the pre-Olympic tournament, the Brazil secured his place in the Paris Gameswhich start in 15 days, and the coach Aleksandar Petrovic has already drawn up the team that will compete for the path to the podium. Despite the limit of 12 players per delegation, the list has two extra names – Alexey Borges and Elinho Corazza -, due to injuries to Yago and Raulzinho. If these athletes do not recover in time for the competition, Alexey and Elinho will replace them. In any case, two names will still be cut from the list.

The delegation begins gathering on the 17th, in Zagrebat Croatiaand, before boarding for Paris, makes a stop in Lille to play a friendly against Canada.
