Ukraine U-20 team defeats Armenia in first match of EuroBasket 2024

The most effective player was Daniil Sypalo, who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds

Ukraine U-20 National Team defeated Armenia in the first round of Group C 2024 European Basketball Championship in Division B – 93:60.

The blue-yellows immediately seized the initiative, and in the second quarter they achieved a comfortable advantage. Ukraine allowed to win back several points in the third 10-minute period, and finally crushed the opponent at the end of the match.

The most effective player of the match was Daniil Sypalo, who had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots (RE 22). Kirill Skutelnik and Pavel Karasev scored 14 points each. All three started the match from the bench. It should be noted that the main center Nazar Kulishenko was injured at the beginning of the match.

In the second round of the 2024 EuroBasket, Ukraine will play against Moldova. The match will take place on Saturday, July 13. The match will start at 20:30.
