Ukraine U-20 National Team confidently defeated the team Moldova in the second round of Group C 2024 European Basketball Championship in Division B – 83:48.
Valery Plekhanov’s charges went into the big break with a slight advantage of five points. In the second half, the blue-yellows stepped up and left their opponents no chance, winning by 35 points.
The most effective player of the match in the Ukrainian national team was Danylo Sypalo, who made a double-double (16 points and 15 rebounds, RE 25). Maksim Klitschko, the son of the mayor of Kyiv and legendary boxer Vitali Klitschko, scored 17 points.
In the first round, Ukraine U-20 defeated Armenia (93:60). In the next match, Plekhanov’s team will play Sweden on July 14, kick-off at 14:30.
