Mykhailiuk’s father: Svyat lacks trust in the NBA

Father of Ukrainian defender Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk — Yuriy Mikhailyuk – believes that his son lacks trust in NBAwhich is why he cannot fully reveal himself.

It was previously reported that Boston does not plan to extend the contract with Svyatoslav. The Ukrainian will leave the Celtics as a free agent.

Several Euroleague clubs were interested in Mykhailiuk. Real Madrid and Panathinaikos were preparing to start negotiations, and Olympiakos was also keeping an eye on the player.

Mykhailiuk played 49 games for the Celtics this season. In the playoff series, the Ukrainian averaged 1.0 points and 0.6 rebounds per eight games. Over the course of the season, the Ukrainian averaged 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
