Blue-Yellows Defeat Japan U-22 Team
Ukrainian National Basketball Team beat the team Japan U-22 with the score 63:47 in the fourth match of the exhibition tournament William Jones Cupwhich takes place on Taiwan.
The final quarter was decisive, and the Ukrainian team won 21:9. The most productive players in the Ukrainian team were Anatoliy Shundel (11 points) and Vadim Kozak (10 points).
This victory was the second for Ukraine in the tournament – previously it lost to the Taiwanese team (58:83) and the Philippine team Strong Group Athletics (74:82), but triumphed over the BSBL Guardians (98:57).
In the next match of the William Jones Cup exhibition tournament, the Ukrainian team will play the White Team of Taiwan. The meeting will take place on July 18 at 12:00 Kyiv time.
