American Indiana Fever basketball player Caitlin Clark set the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) record for most assists in a single game.
Indiana lost to the Dallas Wings on the road on Wednesday with a score of 93:101. Clark spent 40 minutes on the court, scored 24 points and gave 19 assists, setting a league record. Previously, the best achievement belonged to Chicago Sky basketball player Courtney Vandersloot (18 assists), created almost four years ago.
Clark is the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. The 22-year-old was set to compete in the Olympics, but Clarke was ultimately not included in Team USA for the competition in Paris.
