Northern European Basketball League (ENBL) officially announced the inclusion of the Kyiv Budivelnik next season.

In the new ENBL season, Polish Zielona Gora, Start Lublin, Szczecin, Trefl Sopot, Czech Brno and Estonian TalTech will play.

This will be the second season of the European Northern Basketball League. In the debut season, the winner was Anvil from Poland, who defeated the Lithuanian Siauliai in the final.

Budivelnik will also play in the Champions League qualification, according to the results of which he will either qualify for the main round of the tournament or get the opportunity to play in the main round of the FIBA ​​Europe Cup.

On September 21, Budivelnik will play the first match of the Champions League qualification against the Swedish Norrköpping.

Recall that Valeriy Plekhanov, coach of the Ukrainian U-18 national team, became the head coach of Budivelnyk. Also, the people of Kiev announced the signing of new contracts with forwards Bogdan Bliznyuk, Pavel Krutous, Andriy Hrytsak and American defender Archie Goodwin.

The new basketball season in Ukraine may start in October in an unusual format.
