Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban has reached an agreement with American guard Antonius Cleveland, according to the basketball club’s official website.
“We have been watching Cleveland closely for the past two years. I like his energy and leadership qualities. It is clear that Antonius is a player who wants to be noticed on the field and strives to achieve results. We must use these qualities in the upcoming season. I hope that we can develop the player even more and together we will achieve our goals,” said club president Andrei Vedishchev.
Cleveland is 30 years old; the player spent last season at Maccabi Tel Aviv. In 39 Euroleague games, the defender averaged 5.4 points per 14 minutes, in the domestic championship – 9 points per 20 minutes of play.
