— The meeting of the two finalists in the first match of the new season is the idea of the league. The beginning of the season is always interesting, and even more so with the main opponent. I think this idea is aimed at further arousing the fans’ interest in the beginning of the season.
In general, the coordination of the schedule took a lot of time, and personally it was difficult for us to find suitable dates because Megasport was already booked by Spartak hockey, ice shows and a few concerts before us. It seems that everything is settled as much as possible for now, but we will definitely have to play a match in Krylatskoye.
The hardest part is yet to come, when the hockey and basketball playoffs overlap. And we are not in the best position here: the hockey schedule is ahead of the basketball schedule. But we are in communication with the arena and the hockey players and, I hope, we will find optimal solutions for everyone.
