NBA: Shaq blasts Kevin Durant for asking for Brooklyn Nets trade

Former NBA player Shaq O’Neal has been candid about Kevin Durant and the winger’s stance on the Brooklyn Nets during the league’s transfer window; shirt 7’s permanence is uncertain

Shaq O’Nealstar in the history of NBAopened the game on Kevin Durant and the player’s current relationship with the Brooklyn Nets. The number 7 would have asked to be traded to another franchise during the off-season, when most transfers in the league occur. The ex-pivot stressed that the winger would be trying to take a shortcut towards the title instead of building a solid team.

“You should live in a house you built. You’ve hired the architects and given the guidelines, so it’s yours. As a leader, above all, your job is to make it all work.”explained Shaq in an interview with reporter Rich Eisen. “But if you don’t want it to work, just buy another house. I imagine he wants to go to a title contender, because that’s easier.”

They have a youthful core they can build on and trust. Also, I don’t know if everyone saw it, but Jaylen gave this guy a lot of work in the playoffs. So, no matter what happens, they shouldn’t do it. My answer would actually be ‘definitely not’.”
