Saint PETERSBOURG “Zenith ” on the website announced the extension of the contract with the defender Denis Zakharov .
The new deal with the 31-year-old defender runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Zakharov has been playing for Zenit since the summer of 2020. He made 133 appearances for the team, became the VTB United League champion, won the Russian Super Cup twice and the National Cup once.
The new United League competition starts on September 21.
