The blue-yellows lost their chances to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament
Ukraine U-18 Basketball Team lost Ireland in the fourth match of the group tournament 2024 European Youth Championship in Division B – 79:98.
The blue-yellows were able to play the first quarter on equal terms. Then the Irish dominated the court, increasing their advantage to almost 20 points.
The most productive player in the Ukrainian team was Luka Lokhmanchuk, who scored 22 points. Yegor Sushkin had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Ukrainian team is third in Group C, having scored 6 points. Andrius Vaisekauskas’s team has lost its chance to reach the quarterfinals and continue the fight for promotion to Division A.
In the final match of the group round, Ukraine will face North Macedonia. The match will take place on July 31, kick-off at 19:30.
