Lukich led the Russian national team in October 2021. The 52-year-old Serb’s contract with RFB was valid until September. Until May 2024, he combines his position in the national team with his work at the Parisian club Nizhny Novgorod.
The Russian national team has been suspended from participating in international tournaments due to the situation in Ukraine.
