The NBA legend received an elbow during the match against Brazil in the quarterfinals of the Olympic Games and had to be stitched up.
Although the United States did not have any major upsets to defeat Brazil in the quarterfinals of the Olympic Games, one who did not have a good time was LeBron James, who took an elbow to the face midway through the third quarter and had to leave the playing field that Team USA doctors can treat him.
“King” LeBron was defending an attack in the paint by Georginho De Paula when the Brazilian hit him with his left elbow while trying to make a layup. The Lakers player immediately knelt on the floor and held his face, showing a clear expression of pain. The doctors helped him and took him to the locker room so they could take better care of him.
There the doctors applied four stitches on the affected side and he could not play again for the rest of the game for logical reasons.
