Head coach of the national team Serbia Basketball player Svetislav Pesic criticized the refereeing during the 2024 Olympic Games semi-final match against Team USA.
The Serbs lost to the Americans on Wednesday with a score of 91:95.

The best player in the world (Nikola Jokic) makes four free throws in 37 minutes. Our top scorer (Bogdan Bogdanovic) plays 32 minutes and makes only one free throw. This means that strange things happen. I do not minimize the opponent’s victory, I wish them good luck. But strange things happened that night,” Pesic was quoted as saying by Mozzart Sport.
In the final of the 2024 Olympics, the American team will face the French team and the Serbians will meet the Germans in the match for 3rd place. The meetings will take place on August 10.
