Athletistic / Basketball. The Colombian Basketball Federation has reacted to the national team’s humiliating defeat in a friendly match against Parma Perm. The federation’s representatives said that they had not sent the national team to the pre-season tournament in Russia.
“The Colombian Basketball Federation has not received an official invitation to participate in the Friendship Cup in Russia. We have not given permission to any club or educational institution in the country to participate in this tournament.
The Colombian Basketball Federation will take legal action regarding the inappropriate use of our image or logo. This was done without prior authorization,” the federation said in a statement.
On August 21, Parma defeated the Colombian team with a score of 155:53 in the match of the 2024 Friendship Cup international tournament.
