Previously, the Colombians had suffered devastating defeats against Parma and the Venezuelan national team. In turn, the Colombian Basketball Federation indicated that it had not sent its team to the tournament.
“In order to maintain the sporting level of the competition and ensure equal conditions for all participants, the Russian Basketball Federation has made changes to the Fonbet Friendship Cup schedule,” the organization said in a statement.

4:00 p.m. – BC Parma – Colombia;
7:00 p.m. – Venezuela – Russia.
August 25:
11:30 a.m. – Colombia – BC Parma;
2:30 p.m. – Venezuela – Russia.
