The blue-and-yellows secured promotion with a win over Italy, but then lost to France in the battle for first place
Women’s Ukrainian National Basketball Team 3×3 reached the quarterfinals 2024 European Championship from second place in Group A.
The blue-yellows guaranteed themselves a place in the next stage after the very first match, in which they beat the Italian team 15:11. The most productive player in the winning team was Kristina Filevich – 8 points.
Since Italy had also lost to France earlier, it was the Ukrainian and French teams that advanced to the quarter-finals ahead of schedule. In a face-to-face meeting, the two teams competed for first place, and the French were stronger – 17:11.
In the quarterfinals, Ukraine will play against the winner of Group C, Spain. The match will take place on August 24.
