Another transfer from Kiev before the new season
Budivelnik announced the signing of an American point guard Anthony Barber.
The 28-year-old’s last club was the Canadian Guefle Nighthawks, where the American averaged 19.6 points per game, and also made 5.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds.
Anthony also has experience playing for Italy’s Brindisi, Germany’s Mitteldeutscher and Israel’s Ironi Naharia. Last year, Barber played for the Atlanta Hawks’ farm club in the G-League – College Park Skyhawks, entering the league’s second symbolic five at the end of the 2021/22 season.
In the new season, Budivelnik will play in the Northern European Basketball League. Polish Zielona Gora, Start Lublin, Szczecin, Trefl Sopot, Czech Brno and Estonian TalTech will play in ENBL with the Ukrainian team.
Budivelnik will also play in the Champions League qualification, according to the results of which he will either qualify for the main round of the tournament or get the opportunity to play in the main round of the FIBA Europe Cup.
