Moscow CSKA defeated the Serb “Red Star” in the VTB United League Super Cup match.
The meeting of Group “A” took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 94:92 (23:11, 23:25, 26:26, 22:30) in favor of the army team. The most productive player of CSKA was the point guard Melo Trimble, who scored 21 points.
CSKA reached the final of the United League Super Cup, where they will face either Zenit St. Petersburg or UNICS Kazan. Red Star will play one more match in the group stage; on Friday, the Serbian team will meet Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar.
