Saint Petersburg “Zenith” beat the turk “Besiktas” in the VTB United League Super Cup match.
The Group B match took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 83:80 (25:9, 17:26, 21:25, 20:20) in favor of the Russian team. The most productive players of the match were Zenit’s Xavier Moon and Dwayne Bacon, who each scored 21 points.
In the next match, Zenit will face UNICS Kazan on September 13. Group A includes CSKA Moscow, Krasnodar club Lokomotiv-Kuban and Serbian Red Star.
