Men’s team The final match of the group stage ended on a positive note. The blue-yellows defeated Egypt with a score of 21:16.
Before that, the men lost three matches (to Algeria, France and Spain). Thus, Ukraine took fourth place in the group.
Women’s team Ukraine suffered a minimal defeat from the favorites of the competition – China (18:19). On the first day of the tournament, the Ukrainians won two victories (over Austria and Benin), but then lost to Hungary and ultimately took third place in Group A.
